Who They Are
Clemson Makerspace is a student-run organization dedicated to introducing the Clemson University community—including students, faculty, and staff—to 3D printing, rapid prototyping, laser cutting, and more. They provide hands-on training, guidance, and support to help users bring their ideas to life. Whether working on personal projects like prop-making, academic research, or class assignments, the space empowers creators of all experience levels to innovate and build with confidence.
In fall 2023, I was the co-lead for the Makerday committee where I am responsible for all of the graphics and ran a mini dollhouse workshop with about 12 attendees. I also assist students and faculty with equipment in a student-run design laboratory visited by over 200 students per week in two locations. Equipment available are: 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC mill, sticker printer, vinyl cutter, fabric printer, embroidery/sewing machine, and more tools.
