The Pearce Center champions effective communication as a vital component of learning across Clemson University’s undergraduate and graduate programs. They offer hands-on, client-based internships for undergraduates, professional development for graduate teaching assistants, and faculty writing workshops. Recently, they introduced a Visual Information Design internship to support students with visual projects, with plans to expand our professional editing services. Their approach is deeply interdisciplinary, collaborative, and project-driven, fostering real-world skills and impactful learning experiences.

As a VID intern, I helped Clemson faculty and students with their visual projects. Aside from that, the interns are assigned to two teams, one to lead and one to help out. For my fall semester, I lead the Annual Report Team and was a part of the IWAC Team. For the spring semester, I lead the Community Engagement Team and was a part of the Marketing Team.
